Due to a mechanical issue with the arena’s ice plant, the arena will be closing earlier than anticipated for the remainder of the season. The Town made every effort to continue operations as long as possible; however, the significant required repair, combined with the upcoming replacement of the ice plant, has led to the decision to close the arena sooner than expected.
In positive news, the Town has secured grant funding to replace the ice plant. We appreciate the community’s understanding and patience as we work to complete this important upgrade for future seasons.
Note that all ice related programming has been cancelled and staff will be reviewing the opportunity for alternative programming for the March Break.
