Request for Sealed Tender – Temporary Driftscape Administrator

The Town of Thessalon is seeking sealed tenders from qualified individuals or contractors to provide part-time services for the updating, maintenance, and ongoing support of the Town’s Driftscape page. This contract will be for a period of up to six (6) months, with the option to extend at the Town’s discretion.

The successful proponent will be responsible for up to eight (8) hours of work per month, including but not limited to:

• Updating and maintaining the Town of Thessalon’s Driftscape page.
• Adding and editing local events, tours, and points of interest.
• Ensuring all business listings are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Working with Town staff to improve the overall use and value of the Driftscape platform.
• Communicating as needed with the Town’s designated contact and with Driftscape representatives.
• Participating in training sessions with Driftscape staff as required.
• Providing recommendations to enhance user experience and maximize app functionality.

Qualifications

• Sufficient computer skills and comfort working in online platforms and backend interfaces.

• The ability to learn new software and follow technical instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Town staff and Driftscape representatives.

• Experience with digital content management, tourism promotion, or municipal communications is an asset.

• Strong knowledge of the Thessalon community and history is an asset.

The SEALED TENDER must include the following:

• A brief description of relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

• A hourly rate for completing up to 8 hours per month.

• Any additional information the candidate feels is relevant.
