PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

August 28, 2024 Please be advised that at the September 16, 2024 Regular Meeting of Council that a Draft By-law will be presented to Council to recommend Property Remediation and Administration Fees within the Town of Thessalon. Town of Thessalon Planning Advisory Consultant Aimee Powell of Powell Planning and Associates will present via Zoom. Members of the public are invited to attend all Regular Meetings of Council in person.

LAWN WATERING RESTRICTIONS

Under By-law No. 1803 and 1336, property owners with even numbered street addresses are able to water on even numbered days of the week and those with odd numbered addresses are able to water on odd numbered days of the week during the hours of: 7:00 am to 9:00 am and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm New lawns cane be watered everyday between 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. For further information, please see the the By-laws above.

Canada Day

The Municipal Office will be CLOSED Monday July 1, 2024 for Canada Day. However, Canada Day celebrations will take place at Lakeside Park Campground starting at 11:30 on July 1st!

Please be advised that the fire hydrants will be flushed on Friday May 31, 2024 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm You may experience discoloured water and variances in water pressures during the flushing procedure.      If you experience discoloured water, please run the cold water tap for ten (10 minutes until the water clears.
