High school students attend Central Algoma Secondary School, (CASS) that serves about 600 students from Thessalon, St. Joseph’s Island, Echo Bay and the smaller communities in between. CASS has a beautiful location on the Desbarats waterfront and is known throughout the region for its intramural programs.
