CEO/Librarian

Thessalon Public Library Board is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of CEO/Librarian.  (18 hours minimum/week)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Familiarity with the Public Libraries Act would be an asset
• Proficient computer competency including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Familiar with social media platforms
• Adept at prioritizing, planning work activities and problem solving
• Able to work with a Board of Directors to manage finances and budgets
• Interest in community involvement and programming
• Remuneration based on qualifications & experience, pending budget approval
