Town of Thessalon Request for Sealed Tenders For

Food Vendor Services at Thessalon Lakeside Park for Community Day Weekend 2025

The Town of Thessalon is calling for sealed tenders to provide food vendor services at the Thessalon Lakeside Park located at 110 Lakeside Drive, for Community Day Weekend.

The SEALED TENDER must include the following:

• Business license/certificate
• Provide documentation or permits showing all requirements and standards set out by Algoma Public Health have been met
• Food Handling Certification
• WSIB Clearance Certificate (if required)
• Menu with pricing
• Enclosed cooking area preferred
• Certificate of Insurance in the amount of no less than $2 million liability
• Commitment to using eco-friendly packaging
  • Please note that By-law 2550 prohibits the use of plastic checkout bags which includes bags to package takeout foods.
• Minimum food vendor fee of $100.00 plus HST
• Option to extend the contract to three years (2026,2027,2028). If interested, provide your price to include an additional 3 years.

Bidder must be prepared to open for:

Friday, August 1, 2025 from 4 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.*

Saturday August 2 and Sunday August 3 from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.*

*The successful bidder could remain open until 9:00 p.m. on these dates if desired.

Monday, August 4 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Sealed tenders, clearly marked, Community Day Food Vendor, will be received until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025 by the following:
