Reduced Loads
Please note that the reduced loads period will end on Wednesday May 1, 2024 at 7:00 am.
Seasonal Fire permits are now available for purchase and are required for open air burning from April 1st until October 31.
Permits are available by the online format https://thessalon.ca/living/fire-department/ or by visiting the Municipal Office. Permits do not become valid until the seasonal fee of $15.00 has been received.
Payment can be made:
- In person at the Municipal Office
- Calling the Municipal Office with a credit card
- E-transfer to [email protected]; please put in the MEMO of your e-transfer (Last Name – Fire Permit).
Please note the “General Conditions to be Complied with by Permit Holder” on page 2 of the permit; these conditions are to be followed year long.
